Critical: DreamStation 1 and DreamStation 2 share the same 7.4mm connector. DreamStation GO uses a different connector entirely. AirSense 10 and AirSense 11 both run on 24V DC but use completely different connectors — no cord is compatible between them.
ResMed AirSense 10 and AirCurve 10
The S10 barrel connector (OEM part 370001) covers these ResMed machines:
- AirSense 10, 10 Elite, 10 AutoSet, 10 AutoSet for Her
- AirCurve 10 S, 10 ST, 10 VAuto, 10 ASV

The AirSense 11 uses the same 24V DC as the AirSense 10. The connector is completely different. No AirSense 10 cord fits the AirSense 11.
The AirSense 11 draws 2.7A — less than the AirSense 10’s 3.75A. The 65W supply is smaller and lighter than the AirSense 10’s 90W brick.
The AirSense 11 has a dedicated 24V DC port for battery connections. This port is separate from the AC adapter input.

ResMed AirMini
The AirMini uses a 30W power supply with a unique compact connector. It is not compatible with AirSense 10 or AirSense 11 cords.
The AirMini draws only 5-8W during therapy. It is the most battery-efficient ResMed machine.

Philips DreamStation 1 and DreamStation 2
The DreamStation line uses 12V DC — lower than all ResMed machines. DreamStation 1 and DreamStation 2 share the same 7.4mm barrel connector. Philips confirms this specification in their official documentation.
Key spec: 12V DC, 6.67A, 80W maximum. The connector is 7.4mm outer diameter with a 5.0mm inner pin. This is larger than most laptop adapters — confirm the pin diameter before ordering.
DreamStation GO: Uses a different connector and different voltage (15V). Do not order a DreamStation 1/2 adapter for the DreamStation GO.
Critical: DreamStation DC cord signal issue. The Philips DreamStation DC power cord (part number 1120746) does more than just supply 12V. It superimposes a control signal onto the power line. A generic 12V car cord will show a “Check power” error — the machine won’t run. Only the Philips-specific DC cord or a third-party cord confirmed to replicate that signal will work for car or battery use.
I’ve seen patients call with this exact scenario. DreamStation, power station, generic 12V cord — Check power error. The HKY below replicates the required signal. Generic cords do not.

The Luna G3 uses 24V DC — same voltage as the AirSense 10. The connector is different. ResMed and Luna G3 cords are not interchangeable.

What to Avoid
Wrong voltage: A 19V laptop adapter on a 24V machine, or a 12V adapter on a 24V machine, prevents startup or damages internal electronics.
Generic DC cords for DreamStation: A standard 12V car cord triggers the “Check power” error on every DreamStation. Only Philips-compatible DC cords with the control signal work.
Counterfeit or unrated adapters: Unbranded adapters without CE, FCC, or UL markings have no verified safety protection. CPAP machines run 6-8 hours nightly. A thermal event from an untested adapter is a real overnight risk.
